Communications

McMinn County E-911 Communications receives and dispatches emergency

and non-emergency calls for the citizens of McMinn County and any visitors who

may have need of law enforcement, fire or EMS services.

We are a fully consolidated 911 Center serving all Law Enforcement and Fire

Departments in the county. We also dispatch emergency calls for AMR

ambulance service.

All calls are answered by trained professional  telecommunicators.

There are 14 full-time telecommunicators, one training coordinator, two part-time

telecommunicators and one supervisor that answer approximately 40,000

emergency and 100,000 non-emergency calls a year.
